#BREAKINGNEWS Two ATR turboprop aircraft flown by Mexican Aeromar collided on the ground at Mexico City Internation Aiport on Thursday morning. The Aeromar ATR 72-600 with registration XA-UYY collided with the tail of a parked Aeromar ATR 42-500 XA-UAV during engine run up tests. The aircraft was undergoing maintenance when it jumped the chocks and rolled, smashing into the parked ATR 42. XA-UYYs left engine propeller was sevearly damaged, XA-UAVs rudder and rear fuselage were shredder to pieces while the engine was running at high power. XA-UYY is only 1 years old and its last flight before the accident was on the 28th of March.
