SN Weighs Option Of Buying Charter Airline Sobelair

BRUSSELS -(Dow Jones)- SN Brussels Airlines and Sobelair have commissioned Arthur D. little to analyze the situation of Sobelair and its future perspectives.

 

The board has concluded that an approach to Sobelair is only conceivable if the following measures would be realized:

 

Putting into practice of decisions assuring Sobelair's financial soundness.

 

Adjustment of the social conditions of Sobelair's personnel to the conditions of SN Brussels Airlines' employees.

 

Adjustment of the leasing conditions of Sobelair's airplanes to the current market price. From the moment that these measures are fulfilled and after a new deliberation of the management boards of the two companies concerned, SN Airholding and Sobelair could enter into negotiations. These negotiations would focus on:

 

The soundness of Sobelair's charter contracts.

 

The personnel's support for the realization of the approach.

 

The synergies that are to be developed between SN Brussels Airlines and Sobelair.

 

The conditions for a takeover, based upon a positive business plan for the two companies.
