"Ryanair challenges Lufthansa to bet over Irish-German World Cup match outcome

 

Ryanair PLC chief executive Michael O'Leary has dared his counterpart at Deutsche Lufthansa AG Juergen Weber to enter a wager over the Ireland-Germany football World Cup match, German magazine Focus said in an extract from tomorrow's edition.

 

O'Leary told the magazine under the bet, if Ireland beat Germany in the match in June, Ryanair would give away all its tickets from Frankfurt-Hahn free the next day. He proposes that if Germany were to win, Lufthansa should be the one offering free tickets."

 

Warum sollte LH dies tun? So viel Interesse werde die nicht haben. Zudem haben sie ja auch nicht das deutsche olympische Team in die USA geflogen - das dt. olypische Team ist UA geflogen.
