Unsere Klage- und Schadensersatz-verrückten Freunde aus den USA bringen es doch immer wieder zu merkwürdigen Stilblüten...

 

Um späteren Schadensersatz-Klagen wegen schlechter Arbeitsbedingungen zu entgehen, schreiben immer mehr Firmen eine Arbeitsplatzbeschreibung, bei der einem Angst und Bange um die Gesundheit werden kann. So nach dem Motto "Du wußtest es doch vorher, hier steht es sogar schriftlich - jetzt kannst Du nicht dagegen klagen..." :-)

 

Hier eine Job Descrition für eine(n) Cabin Attendant (nur Auszüge, die normalen Sachen wie Mindestalter etc. lasse ich weg):

 

Provides leadership, direction, and assistance during an emergency, including aircraft evacuation, administering first aid to ill or incapacitated Customers, and unusual incidents (bomb threats, hijackings, delayed flights, severe weather conditions, turbulent flights, etc.).

 

Assists passengers with carry-on items. May occasionally lift carry-on items from the floor to above shoulder level with assistance to ensure the cabin for take-off and landing.

 

Has the ability to lift cabin equipment weighing up to 50 pounds from floor to shoulder level as required.

 

Working environment subject to varying climate conditions, air turbulence, changing locations, variable hours and working conditions, dry air, noise levels from engines and other ground equipment, dim lighting, confined spaces and continuous and frequent contact with others.

 

Works under hazardous conditions handling emergencies.

 

Works in aircraft aisles and galleys, standing, reaching (extended in front of body and above head), walking, kneeling, and stooping for periods of long duration, and sitting for take-off and landing.

 

Reads and interprets service and emergency instructions and communicates information to Customers and Crew.

 

Other duties may be assigned from time to time.

 

Ability to lift 50 lbs/23 kg from floor level to above the shoulders.
