Swiss offiziell in der Star, zumindest für das RTW Ticket

Effective Immediately, Swiss is now a permitted carrier on the Star 1/2/3, Starlite/Starspecial and Europass Star products.

 

Star 1/2/3 & Starlite/Starspecial Rule Changes - Issue 1/06 replaces 9/05. Effective 05JAN06 :

 

LX flights are now permitted on the above products. LX paper/ticket stock also permitted to be used to issue Star fares if LX is participating in the itinerary.

LX are using Star Standard booking classes - A for First, D for Business and H for Economy (H on both the 1/2/3 & Starlite products).

LX flights numbers that are not permitted are -

LX3000-3239 4080-4089 4110-4239 4260-4299 4310-4579 4600-4639 and 7400-7499. LX flight numbers operated by rail services in Switzerland & Canada also not permitted.

(For Europass, the same banned flights and class of travel (H) applies.)

 

Other Changes -

- The following flights are now specified in the fare rules as TransPacific, although many of us already knew that from past threads.

AC30/31 YYZ-PEK, AC15/16 YYZ-HKG, SQ19/20 SIN-LAX, SQ21-22 SIN-EWR and TG790/791 BKK-JFK.

 

- Changes to the following carriers list of flight numbers that are not permitted on the RTW/Europass products :

OU / 322-325 350-351 & 5390-5393 not permitted.

UA / 3900-4629 4700-4749 4900-5199 9435-9464 6501-9515 9593-9669 9756-9784 not permitted.

TP / 6000-6069 6090-6599 6830-6999 7200-7299 8000-8324 7400-8469 8770-8879 9000-9499 & 9650-6966 not permitted.

NZ / 322-365 386-387 & 4200-4249 not permitted.

NH / 5650-5800 5851-5900 6400-6450 6610-6621 not permitted.

 

- NZ surcharges expanded :

In addition to the Premium Economy surcharge NZ apply on AKL-LON/LAX/SFO flights, a surcharge of USD300.00 will now apply on the following flights when using Premium Economy on the Y level RTW fares. (Book E class).

AKL-SIN and v.v. eff on flights taken from 17FEB06, AKL/CHC-NRT and v.v. eff on flights taken from 26MAR06, AKL-HKG and v.v. eff on flights taken from 01JUL06 & AKL/CHC-KIX and v.v. eff on flights taken from 30JUL06.

 

- Clarification on Cancellation wording.

Wording in the cancellation paragraphs has been made clearer.

"Cancellations After Departure - as routing is no longer round the world travel, collect the difference between the fare paid and the applicable fare for the journey travelled from point of origin plus the cancellation penalty of USD150.00."

 

EUROPASS - LX added as participating carrier.

Kann mir jemand sagen, um was für eine Art von Flügen es sich dabei handelt?

Warum werden ausgerechnet diese nicht mit eingeschlossen?

Ich würde mal sagen, das dies Codeshare Nummern sind von diesen Airliners, die auch noch andere Partner haben, die nicht in der Star Alliance sind. Und diese Dienste dürfen dann logischerweise nicht genutzt werden.

Das ganze aber ohne Gewähr.
