Umsteigen Saudi Arabien?

Weiss von Euch jemand bescheid, ob man in Saudi Arabien einfach im Transitbereich (gibt es dort einen - jeddah?) bleiben kann und weiterfliegen kann, oder ist ein Passieren der Einreisekontrolle unbedingt erforderlich? Darf man überhaupt ohne Visum (keine Einreise, nur 4 Stunden Aufenthalt) dort umsteigen?

Visa not required, provided:

- continuing to a third country by same or first connecting

 

aircraft within 18 hours; and

- holding confirmed onward ticket and all documents required

 

for next destination.

 

 

Only one stop-over is permitted is Saudi Arabia, except when

flying on Saudi Arabian Airlines, where a second transit point

is permitted.

 

Any change to itinerary is subject to immigration aproval.

 

 

There are no hotel facilities available in the airport transit

 

area. However passengers whose connection time is over 6 hours

 

and less than 18 hours may be allowed to leave the airport for

hotel accommodation or shopping. If granted permission to

 

leave, passenger will be given a transit permit which must be

submitted to immigration 3 hours before departure time. One

 

coloured (passport) photograph is required.

 

Transit refused if not complying with requirements regarding

general appearance.

 

 

ADMISSION AND TRANSIT RESTRICTIONS: The Government of Saudi

 

Arabia refuses admission and transit to:

a. nationals of Israel;

 

b. those arriving in apparent intoxicated state. The

delivering carrier will be held responsible and their

regular operations to Saudi Arabia might be jeopardized

 

due to violation of the Islamic laws.

 

c. those who do not comply with the Saudi Arabian

requirements regarding general appearance and behaviour

such as:

- women exposing legs or arms, or wearing too thin or too

tight clothes;

 

- men wearing shorts exposing legs;

- men and women displaying affection in public in any

 

manner.
