Ryanair has become Europe’s fastest growing and most profitable airline. Our Low Fares formula has resulted in our being established as No. 1 or No. 2 in all our established routes. Ryanair plans to significantly expand its operations throughout Europe in the coming years, with Germany and Austria playing a major part in this growth. We are currently recruiting for a:

 

Sales & Marketing Executive Germany and Austria

 

The successful candidate will work under the direction of and be responsible to Ryanair’s Sales Manager for Germany and Austria and will be based (initially) at London-Stansted International Airport.

 

The role as Sales & Promotions Executive will involve the following:

 

 

 

Initiation, development and fulfilment of all aspects of promotional activity supporting the German and Austrian routes in Germany and Austria, in association with various third party partners, including the media with the aim of maximising sales volumes on the German and Austrian routes

Supporting the Sales Manager with public relations work.

Administrative tasks involved in the general day-to-day running of a busy German department.

Co-ordinating new route launches in the German and Austrian markets, which includes:

Ensuring maximal below the line promotional coverage for Ryanair’s new route

Managing a small team of promotional staff

Overseeing & coordinating the successful implementation of Ryanair’s operational procedures at new airports

Ensuring comprehensive feedback to Sales Manager

 

 

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

Fluent German (written & spoken) having spent at least one year of the past five years in a German speaking environment.

Business, marketing or other relevant degree.

Excellent negotiation, communications and standard office computer skills

Creative, imaginative and outgoing personality.

Self starter with an ability to work under pressure and on their own.

A full clean driving license is essential

The Ryanair routes in Germany & Austria will carry a total of 1.8 Million passengers this financial year. The growth realised so far this year is set to continue in 2002 and in the coming years.

 

The role affords an extremely high level of personal ownership of projects, which are of central importance to the successful growth of one of Europe’s most energetic and commercially admired enterprises.

hehehe, ja das kann leicht sein. Aber das nächste mal in deutsch bitte (nicht böse gemeint) . Es gibt hier vielleicht doch einige, die in Englisch nicht so bewandelt sind (wie ich ).

Herrlich zum Schmunzeln, dass der/die Neue flüssiges Deutsch in Wort und Schrift können sollte. Weiß ja nicht wie Baldwin auf dem Papier aussieht, aber beim Sprechen bräuchte man bald ebenfalls einen Dollmetscher. *g*

 

Gesucht wird ein/e neue/r Verkaufsmanager für Deutschland und Österreich, der sich beispielsweise um deutsche Bürokratie, Routen und, hoho, ein kleines Team kümmern soll.

 

Nebenbei sollte man noch kreativ sein, Deutsch können (oben angesprochen), sich mit dem Compi auskennen und belastbar sein.
