If you say “affirmative”, “negative, "wilco" to your boss, parents, friends.

 

If you say “say again” instead of “pardon” or “excuse me”

 

If your car accelerates in right turns and slows down in left turns.

 

If you know what kind of engines (by model number) each type of aircraft/airline uses

 

If you can tell the difference between different types of engines by their sounds alone

 

If friends call you for airline schedules before they consult OAG or the Internet

 

If your favorite singles bar is at the airport hotel

 

If you say "Rotate" when you accellerate and merge onto the highway

 

If you go on vacation to watch airplanes

 

If you talk about airplanes like other guys talk about women

 

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to experience the jetwash of a B747 just before takeoff roll

 

If your living room has the old TV-Chairs from the airport

 

If your spare room has been converted into a B767 cockpit simulator

 

If your girlfriend/wife has said it was either her or your airplanes, and you said "please remember to look around your seating area and take all of your personal items you might have brought with you."

 

If you refer to your closets as "overhead storage compartments"

 

If your driveway has taxiway lighting and parking markings on it

also den versteh ich net ganz. Bitte um erklärung!

ich glaube wenn ein Flugzeug nach rechts dreht beginnt es zu steigen und der Cpt. gibt gas! In Linkskurven beginnt das Flugzeug automatisch zu sinken un der Pilot nimmt Gas weg!

(Es sind nur Vermutungen )

Zuerst habe ich es auch nicht kapiert, aber nach etwas nachdenken...:

Gemeint ist wahrscheinlich die Verwechselung von Gas- u. Bremspedal im Auto mit den Ruderpedalen im Flugzeug.

Genau das ist gemeint. Die Ruderpedale sind zum Lenken, besonders am Boden in Flugzeugen ohne Tiller da, und auch mit Tiller kann man weitere Kurven problemlos mit den Pedalen rollen.

 

In einer Kurve braucht man immer etwas mehr Power, daher muss man etwas Schub/Gas nachschieben oder halt entsprechend langsamer fliegen.
