Thomas_Jaeger Geschrieben 27. Januar 2003 Melden Geschrieben 27. Januar 2003 NEWS/PICTURE ALERT RYANAIR TO ANNOUNCE NEW EUROPEAN DESTINATION ON TUESDAY MORNING On Tuesday January 28, Ryanair will announce an exciting new European destination direct from Glasgow Prestwick, its tenth route from Scotland. It's the first direct low-cost link between Scotland and this country. Until now it cost hundreds to get there via London. Now Scots can access it with Ryanair at a saving of some 90%. It's estimated the new route will generate some 50,000 new visitors to Scotland in the first twelve months, boosting the economy by some £14m. The announcement justifies one MSP's recent comments that Ryanair has done more to bring visitors to Scotland than all the bureaucracies put together and that Chief Executive Michael O'Leary has had more impact on Scottish tourism than ten tourism ministers put together. You are invited to attend a news conference announcing the new route. For a bit of fun, Ryanair invites journalists to email back with your guess of where the new destination is. The winner, to be announced at the news conference, will receive two free tickets there and back. Email Alan Clark by 5.30 tonight. DATE Tuesday January 28, 2003 TIME 10.30am prompt PLACE Lang's Hotel, 2 Port Dundas Place (opposite Royal Concert Hall), Glasgow CONTACT Alan Clark ends 27 January 2003 INFORMATION - Alan Clark, 07850 339 540 ------------- Sieht für mich nach der Ankündigung des Hubs in Skavsta aus, da es ein Ort in einem Land ist, das noch nicht angeflogen wird. Andere Möglichkeiten wären eventuell noch Gerona (gegen Air Scotland und FlyGlobespan) oder Mailand Orio al Serio.
