Der ursprüngliche Thred habe ich anfangs Mai 2003 geschrieben. Und jetzt lese ich bei Justplanes folgendes:

 

Air Canada announced it plans to expand Tango's network. Plans are to transfer most domestic routes from Montreal to the low cost airline. Destinations in the US should follow later.

 

Na, wissen die denn nun auch was sie wollen... AC ist ja schlimmer wie LX!

Dieses ganze Tango, Jazz, Zip fand ich von Anfang an eher verwirrend.

@viasa: mit dem Widerspruch meinte ich nicht Dich, natürlich, sondern die ursprüngliche These. Du bestätigst das, was ich auch gelesen habe - habe auch deswegen die Quelle angegeben, weil es dort etwas ausführlicher beschrieben wird. Sorry, wen ich mich falsch ausgedrückt haben soll...

Effective October 1, Tango fares will be further expanded to most Air Canada domestic destinations online both at flytango.com and as a new permanent fare category at aircanada.com. Customers with tickets booked at a Tango fare will travel on Air Canada aircraft while Tango’s distinctive livery will continue to be deployed within Air Canada’s regular operations. Later this fall, Tango’s high value, low fares will become available for travel to Air Canada’s U.S. and international destinations at flytango.com and aircanada.com.
