Rechtliche Schwierigkeiten für Ryanair jetzt auch in Dänemar

Momentan kommt es ziemlich heftig für Ryanair - jetzt hat man auch in Schweden, Dänemark und Italien Schwierigkeiten wegen illegaler Subventionen:

 

Ryanair’s run-ins with regulatory authorities across Europe continues, with a Swedish advertising deal declared illegal less than 24 hours after Alitalia announced the ‘moment had arrived’ to consider legal challenges against the airline. Swedish broadsheet Dagens Industri reports that a SEK 55m (£4.2m) deal between Ryanair and the authority running the Nykoeping district has been declared illegal. Ryanair planes were planning to advertise the area for the next decade. However, the local court declared the deal illegal because the council didn’t put its advertising contract out to tender. The tender process has re-started. The Alitalia news came out of a press conference following the Italian flag carrier’s H1s results yesterday. Director General Giuseppe Bonomi, without mentioning Ryanair by name, said: ‘We believe the moment has arrived to make recourse to legal means because we believe that there is a case for state aid since these companies enjoy a very privileged situation. They have free handling services and discounts in terms of airport rights.

 

 

Denmark's Tistrup airport, near Aarhus, has been accused of showing "unjustifiable favouritism" towards Irish budget carrier Ryanair. The Danish civil aviation authority has threatened to revoke the operating licence of Tistrup airport, the country's third largest, for favouring Ryanair over its competitors. Tistrup has been ordered to end its practice of taxing Ryanair just 35 kroner per passenger, half the rate charged to other airlines, by October, reports the Irish Times. Ryanair is already facing European Commission scrutiny and a court ruling against its commercial practices at Charleroi airport near Brussels and in the eastern French city of Strasbourg. Recently the Finnish consumer ombudsman warned Ryanair on the level of service it provided for passengers, which it said did not meet minimum consumer rights.

Aber, mal ehrlich. Habt Ihr Euch mal die Geschäftsführungen von den Regio-Ports angesehen, mit denen FR verhandelt.

Bei einigen - in Deutschland - handelt es sich um ehemalige Lokalpolitiker, IHK-Leute oder ehemalige Bedienstete des Verwaltungsapparates.

Wenn man denen knallhart gegenübersitzt, dann werden die doch wesentlich schneller weich als echt professionelle Airportmanager. Außerdem scheinen bei manchen bereits vor Freude die Sicherungen durchzugehen, wenn sie von einer Verbindung nach London (also in die große Finanzwelt träumen) - schaut Euch dazu nur mal das ganze Vorgehen der thüringischen Landesregierung bei der Ausschreibung Erfurt-London an. Die ziehen das volle Register an Subventionsmöglichkeiten. Da wäre Herr O'Leary und die anderen Manager von Ryanair doch schön bescheuert, wenn Sie für knapp 2 Jahre fast die Hälfte Ihrer Aufwendungen alleine mittels solcher Subventionen finanziert bekommen. Da rechnet sich dann wohl jede Strecke.
