So wie ich das aufgeschnappt habe, ist das mit Kingfisher und den fünf Airbus A380 schon fast unterzeichnungsreif...

 

Was die damit woll?!? Ganz klar das bisherige Fastmonopol der Air-India zerstören.

Qatar Airways hat auf der internationalen Flugmesse in Le Bourget überraschend die Bestellung von bis zu 60 Airbus-Flugzeugen des Typs A350 bekannt gegeben. Zwar will das Unternehmen auch rund 20 Boeing 777-Jets ordern. Zahlreiche Branchenexperten hatten jedoch damit gerechnet, dass Qatar Air überhaupt keine A350-Flugzeuge bestellen, sondern Boeings "Dreamliner" den Vorzug geben werde.Airbus hat daraufhin mitteilen lassen, jetzt über genug Bestellungen zu verfügen, um die Produktion des A350 anlaufen zu lassen. Bisher hatte man erst 10 Aufträge einer spanischen Fluggesellschaft einheimsen können, die zudem nicht verbindlich gewesen waren.Der A350 könnte Boeing nun möglicherweise doch ernsthaftere Probleme als gedacht bereiten. Immerhin konnte Boeing heute jedoch melden, dass der Billigflieger RyanAir seine Bestellung von 737-Jets um eine Option auf 5 zusätzliche Einheiten erweitert hat.Boeing verbilligten sich an der NYSE heute um 0,03 Prozent auf 64,63 Dollar; EADS verloren im Xetra-Handel 0,13 Prozent auf 23,86 Euro; die Titel des Airbus-Mitgesellschafters BAE Systems zogen um 6,25 Prozent auf 4,25 Euro an

Emirates will auf Flugschau Paris keine Bestellungen mitteilen LONDON (Dow Jones-VWD)--Die Emirates Airlines, Dubai, will keine neuen Aufträge für Flugzeuge auf der bevorstehenden Flugschau in Paris bekannt geben. Zum Kauf neuer Flugzeuge gebe es noch keine endgültige Entscheidung, sagte am Freitag ein Sprecher der Fluggesellschaft. Alle Optionen würden geprüft, auch Aufträge für den A350 der Airbus SAS und solche für Maschinen des Typs 777-300ER/200LR der Boeing Co. In der Vergangenheit war in der Presse darüber spekuliert worden, Airbus werde auf der Flugschau 100 Aufträge bekannt geben, aus den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten solle dabei eine Bestellung über 50 A350 kommen. Jet Airways India Ltd has informed BSE that the company commenced its international operations to Sri Lanka and Nepal in March 2004 and May 2004 respectively.

 

In April and May 2005, company commenced scheduled services to international routes such as Singapore, Malaysia and United Kingdom.

 

The company intends to commence flights to the United States of America, some other countries and increase the frequency of its flights to the United Kingdom, The company also intends to increase services on its existing domestic schedule.

 

In order to maintain and expand its route coverage, the company intends to purchase 10 Boeing 777-200LR / 200ER / 300ER series aircraft (and 10 options) from The Boeing company USA and 10 Airbus 330-200 / 300 aircraft (and 10 options) from Airbus SAS France. These aircraft would be delivered from 2006 through to 2009.

 

This fleet expansion would entail significant capital expenditure to be incurred in stages over the next four years. It is envisaged that the capital expenditure would be funded through a judicious mix of internal accruals, commercial debt and Export Credit Agency financing.

 

The Board of Directors of the company has constituted an Aircraft Acquisition Committee inter alia, to initiate discussions with the aircraft manufacturers in relation to the outlays, delivery schedules, payment terms and engagement of advisors.

 

The acquisition will be subject to all requisite corporate, legal, governmental and regulatory approvals including the approval of the shareholders of the company.

Boeing Wins Plane Orders Worth $3.9 Billion, Beating Airbus

 

June 14 (Bloomberg) -- Boeing Co., the world's second- largest aircraft maker, won orders today for planes worth a total of $3.9 billion as the company increases its lead in new business this year over Airbus SAS.

 

The orders, from General Electric Co.'s GE Commercial Aviation Services for 20 737 narrow-body jets worth $1.1 billion and from Jet Airways (India) Ltd. for 10 777-200LR aircraft worth $2.8 billion, come a day after Qatar Airways said it would buy 20 widebody 777 planes worth $4.6 billion.

 

``Boeing is clearly taking quite a big lead this year,'' said Zafar Khan, an analyst at SG Securities in London. ``It's interesting that the leasing companies are coming back since they've been mostly out of the market for the last three years.''

 

Boeing is seeking to outsell Airbus this year after being beaten by the Toulouse, France-based company on orders in the past four years. The Paris Air Show alternates every other year with one in Farnborough, England, as the planemaking industry's largest trade event and a forum for announcing new orders.

 

Shares of the U.S. planemaker are up 25 percent this year. Shares of European Aeronautic Defense & Space Co., the majority owner of Airbus, fell as much as 29 cents, or 1.2 percent, to 23.56 euros and were 0.3 percent lower at 23.78 euros at 9:52 a.m. in Paris. Its shares are up 11 percent this year.

 

Delivery of the 737 narrow-body aircraft will begin in 2006, GECAS and Boeing said in a statement released on PRNewswire. The Jet Airways deliveries will also begin in 2006, the airline said in an e-mailed statement.

 

International Routes

 

``The Boeing planes will fly international routes including New York to New Delhi,'' Jet Airways Chairman Naresh Goyal said at a press conference. The order still needs Indian government approval, he said.

 

``Airlines appreciate the low operating costs, high reliability and the modern, flexible interior that meets their changing requirements,'' GECAS Chief Executive Henry Hubschman said in a statement.

 

Jet Airways also said it will buy 10 Airbus A330-200 and A330-300 planes. Based on the list price of those aircraft, that would be worth $1.5 billion to $1.8 billion.

 

Qatar yesterday said it would buy 60 of the planned Airbus A350 aircraft worth $10.6 billion. Airbus expects to win around 200 commitments by yearend from customers who want to buy the proposed A350 plane, which competes with Boeing's 787, Chief Executive Noel Forgeard said today at the air show.

The Toulouse, France-based planemaker expects further orders this week at the Paris Air Show for its planes, including the A320, A330 and 555-seat A380, Forgeard said.

 

Chicago-based Boeing in the five months through May booked 255 firm orders, while Airbus had 196.

 

GECAS ordered 12 737 airplanes last year and six last month, the company said. Boeing has received more than 2,500 orders for the 737 series of aircraft since the model line was updated beginning in 1993. The plane is used by low cost- airlines including Ryanair Holdings Plc.

ich bin grade nicht in der Hochschule, daher frage ich euch mal: Wird es von der A380 eine Domestic-Version geben (z.B. für Japan, Indien etc.)?

Hinter Alafco steht übrigens Kuwait Airways.

 

Mit den zwölf A350 werden wohl die die A300, A310 und möglicherweise B777 ersetzt.

 

Der Kingfisher A380 Order ist fix, weitere 15 A330/A350 werden erwartet.

Wenn ich jetzt kurz und knapp durchrechne, dann ist die 777-200LR dem 340-500 entweder nur dicht auf, oder hat ihn sogar schon überholt! Bin an der Arbeit und habe meine Unterlagen nicht komplett im Kopf!

Hinter Alafco steht übrigens Kuwait Airways.

 

Nach meinen Infos wurde Alafco zwar 1992 von Kuwait Airlines Corporation gegründet, ist aber mittlerweile mehrheitlich eine Leasingtochter des Kuwait Finance House.

Wobei (so glaube ich) Kuwait Airways auch eine Tochter der Kuwait Finance House ist. Obwohl ich es nicht weiss, glaube ich, dass die A350 wirklich bei Kuwait Airways zum Einsatz gelangen.

Egyptian airline, Air Cairo, have placed an order with Airbus for 6 A318s. Deliveries of the 'Babybus' should start June 2006.

 

Air Cairo (partially owned by Egyptair) were formed in 2003 to take over from the defunct Shorouk Airways. Until now the charter airline have been using 2 ex-Egyptair A321s for flights to Europe however as the new A318s arrive, the airline will take over Egyptair's domestic and selected regional flights (like BEY, DAM, AMM). The A318s are seen to be better suited to these markets.

 

In 2003, Egyptair/Air Cairo indicated they were interested in ordering 50-seat regional jets/turboprops for use on domestic services which saw them consider the ERJ-145, CRJ200 and Dash-8. All 3 aircraft made demonstration flights for the airlines at CAI and LXR. Egyptair then leased 6 ATR-42s (3 from Tarom and 3 from Air Littoral) for 6 month periods to test their suitability and operations on domestic routes. Then came 2004 when Egyptair underwent significant restructuring and put an RJ order on hold. Finally earlier this year both airlines began reconsidering the use of smaller aircraft. At the Avex Airshow in Sharm El Sheikh Airbus (A319), Embraer (Embraer 170) and Bombardier (CRJ700) were given the opportunity to demonstrate their products. Now almost 2 years after initial plans were made, Air Cairo have decided the A318 is the best aircraft for them.

 

The airline which is 61% owned by Egyptair will continue to operate charter flights but the new jets will allow them to take over and expand MS's domestic/regional routes.

Ist für Airbus natürlich die Heimmesse, da muss man auch ein bisschen was bieten.

 

Naja, Emirates scheint ja (noch?) nicht dabei zu sein.

Außerdem haben die Airlines ja auch was davon, schließlich ist der Rahmen ja doch ein anderer & man kommt auch mal mit einer Pressekonferenz kurz ins TV, was bei Bestellungen unterm Jahr nicht so einfach ist.

 

Nebenbei - bisher 110 A350-commitments...

Wäre jetzt sehr überraschend, wenn die die Maschine doch nicht bauen.

 

Ich warte noch auf die 747Adv - Boeing sagt ja immer "sieht gut aus", aber nie konkret "jop, und der erstkunde ist...."

So wie ich das sehe, gab es bisher diese Bestellungen... vielleicht habe ich aber die eine oder andere vergessen... mal schauen was da noch kommt. Warte vor allem ganz gespannt auf eine Bestellung aus einem afrikanischen Land.
