TNT operiert in Europa nun auch mit Boeing 757

TNT Deploys First 757

 

TNT Express bolstered its freighter operations with the launch its first 757 freighter on its service to Spain.

 

The aircraft was wet-leased from Icelandair and deployed last month on a flight from TNT hub Li�ge, Belgium, to three Spanish destinations: Barcelona, Vitoria and Madrid before returning to Li�ge.

 

"This aircraft gives TNT Express just the right increase in capacity on a growing route between Spain and our hub at Li�ge," Christian Drenthen, Managing Director Worldwide Networks, TNT Express said. With a payload of 30 metric tons, the 757 is cost-efficient to operate besides being among the quietest aircraft available, said the carrier.

 

In addition to the 757, TNT Express currently operates a freighter fleet that includes 18 BAe 146-200-300 QTs, six A300-B4Fs, two wet leased Tupolev TU 204-120C and four 737- 300Fs.
