Vueling has created special safety procedures when an emergency exit on the left of the airplane is not working.

you are right, but it not very smart to put tape on one side of aisle, and the comments of the pilot is also not very smart. As you understand, passengers are not airline people, and telling them that everything is safe, except one emergencydoor is not working, creates a lot fear.

 

Within my company, when one door is not working (or a glide shute is not working), there should be less passengers be transported in the airplane (for example glide sute u/s, 50 passengers less). But don't use tape like this.....
