Sales & Marketing Manager Germany, Austria & Switzerland

 

Location: Stansted

 

Reports to: Head of Sales & Marketing for Europe

Our German, Austrian and Swiss network encompasses 13 airports, 104 routes and over 8.5 million passengers in 2007.The successful candidate will be based at London Stansted Airport, reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing. Duties Include:

 

* Increase passenger volumes on the German, Austrian & Swiss route networks

* Deliver National & Regional Promotions in Germany, Austria & Switzerland

* Ensure that key Ryanair messages are loud & clear in cooperation with Head of Communications & Head of Sales & Marketing

* Manage PR & Promotions Executives in the Market & ensure that they deliver monitoring progress with regular feedback

* Initiate & deliver a prepared programme of Sales, Marketing & PR activities for new routes & bases such that commercial targets for launches are met & exceeded

* Maximise output of our German PR Agency & the Sales & Marketing Departments at our German, Austrian & Swiss Airports

* Liaise with tourist boards & relevant Government departments to add value to our Sales & Marketing Planning

 

Experience and Qualifications:

 

* Business, Marketing or other relevant degree

* Fluency in English & Germany mandatory – written & spoken

* Good knowledge of German Consumer Market

* Self starter with an ability to work under pressure & independently

* Excellent communication & negotiation skills

* Commercially focussed & Sales driven

* 2-5 years experience in a Sales and/or Marketing environment
