Easyjet neu NCL-FAO

EasyJet is adding a new route from Newcastle to Faro this winter.

 

The new service will commence on 1st November 2005, operating three times weekly (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays), increasing to daily for summer 2006. Fares will start from £24.99 one way.

 

Seats will be available to purchase from today.

 

Sue McClellan, Marketing Manager for Newcastle International Airport commented: "We have received many requests from people living in the North East and in Portugal for a low cost route linking these two areas. easyJet's announcement today meets those needs and we are sure it will quickly become as popular as their other 14 routes from Newcastle."

Erstmal herzlichen Glückwunsch nach Newcastle!

Aber mal ganz ehrlich: Was ist an Newcastle so besonders? Die haben x Verbindungen mit EasyJet, viele Flagcarrier steuern Newcastle an und seit neuestem kommt American Airlines noch täglich aus New York vorbei.

Aber Städte wie Dresden haben noch nichtmal Verbindungen noch London, Paris oder Rom. Und in Dresden sollte das Einzugsgebiet (= potentielle Kunden) auch nicht kleiner sein.

Aber trotzdem empfehle ich jedem eine Reise nach Newcastle, ist ne schöne Ecke in England und wenn man dann noch einen Leihwagen hat, erreicht man sehr schöne Flecken Erde von da aus.

Na ja, Zielgruppe sind doch Britten, die dort Urlaub machen wollen oder eigenes Wohneigentum haben, daher lohnt sich sowas auch (bezüglich der neuen Verbindung).

Und ich bezweifele stark, dass HLX nach dem Winter nochmal ab CGN nach NCL fliegen wird...
