KRK-City jetzt per Bahn

Seit dem 26.5. (rechtzeitig zum Papst-Besuch) gibt es eine Bahnverbindung von KRK zum Hauptbahnhof. Die Fahrt dauert 15 Minuten und kostet 3,80 Zloty (ca. 1 Euro), Tickets gibt es im Zug. Die Haltestelle ist 200 m vom Terminal entfernt, kostenloser Bus-Shuttle wird angeboten.

Es bleiben weiterhin die Alternativen Linienbus 192 (Fahrtdauer 40 Minuten, Ticket 3,10 Zloty mit Gepäck) und Taxi (Kosten zwischen 40 und 60 Zloty).

The Kraków-Balice Station is located app. 200 m from the passenger terminal, you can get there by foot (around 5 min. walk)

or take a free shuttle bus service which operates to and from Kraków-Balice Station, this is a 3 minute trip from the airport terminal building.

Ich denke mal die Situation ist ählich wie in SXF, oder?

 

Sehr viel weiter ist es in SXF doch auch nicht zum Bahnhof oder?

Meines wissens nach gibts doch da auch einen shuttelbus oder nicht?

Nanu, das ist ja ziemlich überraschend. Ich war vor gar nicht so langer zeit dort, war mit dem Bus von der stadt herausgefahren und auch wieder zurück- von einer Bahnlinie war da weit und breit nix zu sehen, in der Nähe des Flughafens verläuft nur die Autobahn. Ich fände das aber sehr gut, wenn sie sich die Anbindung von KRK verbessert, denn es lohnt sich wohl inzwischen mit den ganzen Bliigfliegern.

Kann KRK jedem nur sehr empfehlen, werde es nie vergessen- eine grossartige Stadt.

Wobei ich bei KTW , dem Wizzair airport, eine Bahnanbindung noch wichtiger fände.KTW ist ja extrem in der Pampa.

Der Bahnverkehr wird sich hoffentlich "eingespielt" haben, wenn ich im August nach KRK komme.....

 

"A quick piece of information about the connection - its called the Szynobus - and its really more a train type setup than a real train. The first day did have its problems - apart from the 3 breakdowns when it got to the airport on its first run at 4am in the morning it found its route blocked by a gate manned by a soldier who knew nothing about the arrival of the train! At the moment it stops at a temporary platform about 200m from the terminal. A courtesy bus is available for the last 200m if you can't make it on foot.

Note that at the Dworzec Glowny in Krakow (the central station) there is a 40cm step up from the platform to the train.

The first train leaves Krakow Station at 0400 and the last at 2307.

Tickets are 3.80zl and can at the moment only be purchased on the train. This low cost means that it needs some 600,000 passengers a year to travel on it - so although its a quick way to and from town (currently 15 minutes - and this may be speeded up as currently there is a review of safety at road intersections) I wonder how long it will last?"
