Neue low-cost airline aus Tunesien: SBA Airlines

Eine neue airline namens SBA Airlines möchte binnen Jahresfrist mit Airbus A-320/321 ab Tunis an den Start gehen. Im low-cost Bereich werden zunächst Amsterdam, Lagos, Manchester, Nizza und Warschau angeflogen.

Vor einigen Tagen war auf deren HP schon mehr zu sehen. Unter anderen die Sitzpläne (2 Klassen mit richtiger Businessclass) sowie die Streckenplanung. Sofern diese Infos stimmten, plant man in D Köln/Bonn und Bremen anzufliegen, wobei deren Deutschlandzentrale wohl in Bremen sitzen soll. Auch an Langstrecken (JNB) ist laut damaliger Darstellung gedacht.

SBA Airlines focus and goal is to promote Tunis as a transit point for long haul travel. Even though said stated, we are not really a low cost airline, however, an airline that will provide an affordable premium product. According to airliners.net we are more of a cross between Virgin America and Etihad Airways.

Our base of operation will be Tunis until Enfidha Airport opens at said time we will focus our flights from this airport.

In the up coming weeks SBA and Airbus will be annoucing the confirmed order of NEW airbus equipment from medium to widebody aircraft.

We look forward to serving Tunisia and corporate culture that will be unique in Tunisia from employee profit sharing to scholarship programs in aviation to Tunisian youth that

are from less income families.

Ich find das Zitat bei a.net zwar nicht (nur einen Vergleich mit Virgin und Jet Blue), aber ich finds schon sehr witzig, dass eine Airline für ihre Außendarstellung etwas übernimmt, was sich ein Forumsuser zusammen schwadroniert hat.

 

Alles in allem macht das keinen sehr seriösen Eindruck - würde mich wundern, wenn die Langstrecke fliegen...

Du willst eine fundierte Meinung? Nun gut. Die Website ist sehr unprofessionell gestaltet, Rechtschreibfehler fallen auf den ersten Blick auf. Wie schon vorher erwähnt ist die Definition des eigenen Geschäftsmodells anhand einer Aussage in einem Airline-Userforum höchst unprofessionell. Die "Airline" hat eine MySpace-Seite, registriert auf einen 40 jährigen US-Amerikaner aus Owensboro, Kentucky; Auch die Website ist in den USA registriert. Wieviel mehr proof brauchst du?

Wie gesagt, die Wette steht, meiner Meinung nach ist diese "Airline" auf noch wackligeren Beinen als "smintair"...
